I am reading stories that some round the UK cruises are sailing with only evening entertainment, little occurring during the day. A recent sailing had seasoned cruiser Bernie Flint on the Saga of Discovery’s maiden voyage. He is such a popular turn, his act focusing on his 12 weeks winning Opportunity Knocks over thirty five years ago.
But during the day, on-board activity did not include a lecturer in the main theatre. These talks ate very popular, especially with the older audiences who like something to do when at sea. Bernie was on board for three days, flying back from Belfast.
